How I choose what to recommend
- I recommend things I've used, researched thoroughly, or would buy for my own plans.
- A commission never determines whether something gets recommended, or where it ranks in a post.
- When something isn't worth the money, I say that too, including for products I could have earned a commission on.
- If I haven't personally used something, I'll tell you that rather than implying I have.
